Fairtrade Fortnight - March 1st..March 13th 2005
Fairly traded foods
As many parishioners know, we support Traidcraft by selling fairly traded goods in
- St Thomas - 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month
- St Nicholas - 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month
In 2004, we raised £200 which we donated to help beekeepers in Tabora.
But buying fairly traded goods shouldn't be something you consider only once a fortnight.
Many supermarkets stock blends of tea and coffee which are fairly traded, and during Fairtrade Fortnight keep your eyes peeled for bananas, chocolate, wine and many more goods that you might like to purchase to support fair trade.
