What is Watoto?
It means "The Children"
The Watoto Children's Choir was founded in Uganda in 1994, and since that time has been touring Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia
Their story
The Watoto Children’s Choir spread a message of hope for Africa’s children. The choir presents the Watoto vision and mission through their music and dance, which is contemporary gospel and traditional African rhythm. The children are among 1.7 million boys and girls in Uganda who lost one or both parents to AIDS or war. Through their performances the W.C.C. is moving the hearts of people around the world as they share their stories of joy and hope.

The Watoto Children's Choir are coming to Bedhampton on Friday 20th October.
They are giving a performance of their 'Concert of Hope' at St Nicholas Church Centre.
Tickets £5 (£10 for a family) are available from mid September from both churches and the Parish Office.
There will be also be a collection on the night and the chance to buy refreshments.
