The historic building of St Thomas, with its Norman arch and flint exterior, is a wonderful haven of peace and stillness, cool in summer and offering shelter from the elements in winter.
Whenever possible, it is open from 9am till 4pm every day and we welcome visitors.
We have a photo gallery here that you can explore - here's a taster!
If you are interested in the history of this building, pick up the little history leaflet near the door - it will help you explore and involve you in the life of this building - home to the religious life of Bedhampton for almost a thousand years. Bring a camera too - our Church is very photogenic!
If you are seeking a quiet space to pray and to reflect, then you might
also like to read our Prayer Trails which will take you around the exterior
and interior of the Church.
You can leave a prayer card and your prayer
will become part of the next service to take place there, even if you,
yourself are unable to attend.
While you are here on our website, visit our FROST
page and read about
how the Friends of St Thomas are helping care for and protect this piece
of
Bedhampton's
heritage so that not only can you enjoy your time here, but so can your
children, and their children...
The central arch goes back to the time
of the Normans - it is now our daunting but inspiring challenge to keep
this building in fine shape far into the future.
